D: Bad news I have.

My camera got stolen ):

I was letting a friend borrow it and her car got broken into and they took it! D:
Not like it was in plain sight either! D:

Anyway, D: it was a Canon G10.
It cost me lots of money D:
But I can't go without a camera, and you know, I was this close to selling that thing and buying a DSLR, cause I had several complaints about the noise levels in anything you take over ISO200, but I guess now I'm starting from scratch.. D:

I'm gonna go ahead and just buy an XSi (a.k.a. 450D in non-america) to replace it. I was looking at the cost of a replacement G10, and Best Buy has it for $479, which after tax would be $510 anyway, and the XSi is like $579 on ebay, so I figured it's definitely worth the $70 extra. I was headed in that direction anyway, why not.

Unfortunately, it's still more money than I'm comfortable with spending without selling something back to lighten it a bit.. and technically, if you add on the $500 cost of the lost G10, this new camera is costing me $1079, theoretically..

Well, not much I can do about it, my birthday's coming up anyway, might as well consider it an early extremely expensive birthday present to myself.. D:


And I suppose you guys will be seeing some closer to decent pictures around here now. D:

I didn't realistically think I'd be back, but here I am... D:

College isn't as horribly time consuming than I had assumed it would be.. In fact, they lied! D: It's easier than the high school AP courses..! D:<

So I've actually had more free time than I thought I would, and I sold off both my cameras and got a Canon G10. It's nice, really nice, but still a DSLR would be ideal. Just didn't wanna put the extra $400 into it.
Well I've been taking a few pics here and there, although I haven't really gotten a chance to play with it yet.
I just learned about HDR (browse for it if you don't know) and all sorts of stuff you can do with your pictures, and I'm eager to try some of this stuff. D:

..Yeah so the only reason I decided to buy a subscription is cause of that fancy slide show thing they let you have on your page. xD
